Haven’t really been keeping up with this as well as I’d like, but I guess most of my work is liable to happen on the weekends, anyway.
Orks are progressing, slowly. I’m taking Monday off, so I plan on completing major assembly then, including adding wires & gubbins and such. Will have to try and get them primered if it’s dry out.
I’ve been more or less corralled to run Dark Sun for the Saturday group. I guess I’m ok with that, just still a tad bit nervous. It occurs to me that “making things cool” is harder as a DM (than as an author, frex) simply because I don’t have as many tools. I’m mostly limited to showing the players what their characters see, which can make getting plots / NPCs “screen time” without just railroading and going off on monologues / rants pretty tricky. I’m pretty sure the game is going to be about “What happens to Tyr, now that it’s ‘free’?” and focus on the 2 to 3 years after the overthrow of Kalak. I may have some other craziness to throw in there, but I’m kind of leaning towards K.I.S.S…
I also need to email everyone and see what their ideas are…
